Managing Reservation Rotation Points

All checked in room reservations (with the exception of pseudo rooms) accrue points according to the room rotation point rules setup and can be viewed and corrected once a reservation has checked out. You may need to adjust points in special circumstances, for example when a reservation was room moved due to damage and the original room owner is to receive less points.

Note:

You can search up to five rooms within a thirty day date range, for reservations in Checked Out status.

Viewing Reservation Rotation Points

  1. From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Inventory, select Room Rotation, then select Reservation Points.

  2. Enter search criteria, then click Search.

Editing Reservation Rotation Points

Note:

You role must be granted the Edit Reservation Points task.
  1. From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Inventory, select Room Rotation, then select Reservation Points.

  2. Enter search criteria, then click Search.

  3. Select a reservation in the search result, then click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Edit.

    1. Manage Reservation Points is displayed; the Current Point values are displayed in separate rows.

    2. Adjust Points To: Enter a new rotation points value.

    3. Adjust Reason: Select a rotation adjustment reason from the list. For more information, see Configuring Rotation Adjustment Reasons

    4. The Total Reservation Points instantly displays a new value.

    5. To undo changes, click Reset to remove the adjustments or Cancel any changes.

    6. Click Apply to save the changes.

  4. The Adjustment Log panel displays adjustment activity or changes to the reservation.
