Configuring Rotation Adjustment Reasons

Rotation Adjustment Reasons are used to identify why you are adjusting the assigned rotation points for a room or for a reservation.

Note:

When the OPERA Multi-Property Reservation Cloud Service is active, rotation adjustment reasons are available to all properties.

Adding Rotation Adjustment Reasons

  1. From the Administration, select Inventory, select Room Rotation, then select Rotation Adjustment Reasons.

  2. Click New and complete the following:

    1. Code: Enter code for the rotation adjustment reason.

    2. Description: Enter description for the rotation adjustment reason.

      1. Manage Translation: Click to open the multi-language descriptions screen and configure a language translation for the description. (Available when the Multi Language OPERA Control is active).

    3. Sequence: Enter a display sequence for the rotation adjustment reason in lists.

    4. Click Save or click Save and Continue to add another.

Editing Rotation Adjustment Reasons

  1. From the Administration, select Inventory, select Room Rotation, then select Rotation Adjustment Reasons.

  2. Enter search criteria then click Search.

  3. Select the rotation adjustment reason code in the search result, then click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Edit.

  4. Update the configuration.

  5. Click Save.

Deleting Rotation Adjustment Reasons

  1. From the Administration, select Inventory, select Room Rotation, then select Rotation Adjustment Reasons.

  2. Enter search criteria then click Search.

  3. Select the rotation adjustment reason code in the search result, then click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Delete.

  4. Click Deleteto confirm.
