Reservation Types

Prerequisites for Reservation Types .

Reservation types determine whether or not a reservation deducts a room from inventory. Prior to check in the reservation type selection can be updated in a reservation and in doing so any of the following profile / reservation attributes can be made mandatory:

• Address

• Deposit

• Arrival Time

• Phone Number

• Credit Card

Non deduct reservations are not included in the availability calculations by default, but they can be included if you select the Non-deduct Rooms Sold and the Available Rooms with Non-deduct (Rooms Sold) view options when you access the Property Availability.

Group blocks and allotments must also have a reservation type selected. This selection provides several different combinations to cover guaranteed / deduct blocks with non-deduct reservations, or non-deduct groups and allotments with deduct reservations.
