Configuring City Tax Ranges

City tax ranges are processed when the Amount Ranges  parameter of the CITY_TAX function is set to Y.

The applicable tax charge is posted according to the range configuration, for example:

  • 0.00-10.0 = 0.00

  • 10.01-25.00 = 0.50

  • 25.01-50.00 = 1.00

  • 50.01-100.00 = 2.00

  • 100.01-150.00 = 3.00

  • Each additional 50.00 increases by 1.00

Adding City Tax Ranges

  1. From the Administration menu, select Financial, select Rate Management, and then select City Tax Ranges.

  2. Click New and complete the following:

    1. Property: Enter or select the property.

    2. Amount From: Enter a starting amount

    3. Amount To: Enter the ending amount

    4. Tax Amount: Enter a tax amount.

    5. Interval Amount: Enter an interval amount. (e.g., for every 50.00 EUR tax, increase by 1 EUR).

    6. Click Save.

Editing City Tax Ranges

  1. From the Administration menu, select Financial, select Rate Management, and then select City Tax Ranges.

  2. Enter search criteria, then click Search.

  3. From search results, select the city tax range, then click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Edit.

  4. Update the configuration.

  5. Click Save.

Deleting City Tax Ranges

  1. From the Administration menu, select Financial, select Rate Management, and then select City Tax Ranges.

  2. Enter search criteria, then click Search.

  3. From search results, select the city tax range, then click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Delete.

  4. Click Delete to confirm.
