Managing Report Watermarks

Prerequisites for Watermarks

The watermark feature adds a faint text to the background of reports generated in PDF format. The watermark can be configured at a global level, for specific report groups, or for individual reports and stationery templates. You can specify the watermark text and set its size, color, and position on the page.

Defining a Global Watermark

  1. From theAdministration menu, select Enterprise, and then select OPERA Controls.

  2. Select the General group.

  3. Activate the Enable Watermark for Reports parameter.

  4. Update the Configure (Global) Watermark Settings setting. For more information, see Watermark Mode Options section.

Defining Watermark for Report Groups

  1. From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Reports and then select Manage Reports.

  2. Click Manage Report Groups.

  3. Enter search criteria then click Search.

  4. From the search results, select a report then click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Edit.

    1. Watermark Mode: Select from the watermark settings. See Watermark Mode Options.

    2. Click Save.

Defining Watermark for Reports & Stationery

  1. From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Reports and then select Manage Reports.

  2. Enter search criteria then click Search.

  3. From the search results, select a report then click the vertical ellipsis Action menu and select Edit.

    1. Scroll to the bottom of the page

      1. Watermark Mode: Select from the watermark settings. See Watermark Mode Options.

    2. Click Save.

Watermark Mode Options

  • Simple- the default watermark configuration:

    • Font size: 100 pts.

    • Font name: Helvetica

    • Font color: light gray

    • Watermark position: centered between the lower left corner and the upper right corner of the page on a 55 degree slant.

    • Text: Enter the watermark text

  • Enhanced - allows you to customize the position, font size, and color for the watermark.

    • Text: Enter the watermark text

    • X-Position: Enter the horizontal start position

    • Y-Position: Enter the vertical start position

    • Angle: Specify an incline in degrees 

    • Font Size: Enter a font size

  • No Watermark (disable watermark)
