Managing Block Packages

The Block Packages panel displays the packages setup on the rate code selected for the block, along with (sell separate) packages added directly to the block. Only packages that are available for the dates of the block are displayed in the packages selection list.  Premium badge Default packages are added according to the Default Package Upon Block Creation OPERA Control.

Block packages are automatically copied to the individual reservations picked up for the block. For more information, see Reservation Packages.

Adding Block Packages

  1. From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Bookings, select Blocks, then select Manage Block.

  2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

  3. Select the block in the search result, then click I Want To. . . and select Packages or click the Packages link in Block Presentation.

  4. Select the Packages tab.

    1. Click New and complete the following:

    2. In the Available Packages panel, click Select Package for the package item

      1. Quantity: Enter the number of package items; Quantity may depend on price calculation rule of the package.

      2. Begin Date: Enter an optional Begin Date to post the package item.

      3. End Date: Enter an optional End Date to post the package item.

      4. Click Select Package.

  5. The selected package item appears in the Selected Packages column. 

  6. Click Save.

Editing Block Packages

  1. From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Bookings, select Blocks, then select Manage Block.

  2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

  3. Select the block in the search result, then click I Want To. . . and select Packages or click the Packages link in Block Presentation.

  4. Select the Packages tab.

  5. Select the package, then click Edit.

    1. Quantity: Enter the number of package items; Quantity may depend on price calculation rule of the package.

    2. Begin Date: Enter an optional Begin Date to post the package item.

    3. End Date: Enter an optional End Date to post the package item.

    4. Click Save.

Deleting Block Packages

  1. From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Bookings, select Blocks, then select Manage Block.

  2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

  3. Select the block in the search result, then click I Want To. . . and select Packages or click the Packages link in Block Presentation.

  4. Select the Packages tab.

  5. Select the package, then click Delete.

  6. Click Delete to confirm.
