Managing Reservation Alerts
Alerts are messages for hotel staff that are displayed as a notification when the reservation is accessed at a specific time (status) in the reservation life cycle. When the Popup Alerts OPERA Control is active, alerts appear as a pop-up page, which the user must close to continue. When the Popup Alerts OPERA Control is inactive, alerts are indicated as a notifications link.
Reservation alerts can also be setup to print to an (email addressable) printer, such a printer in In-room Dining or Concierge and generating a "chit" in the selected alert template format.
