Configuring Reservation Protection Rules

Prerequisites for Configuring Reservation Protection

Use Reservation Protection to set up rules for protecting a reservation from updates. You can create a Reservation Protection Condition or a Condition Group, which will consist of multiple layers of attributes, such as if/and/or/between, and so on where multiple conditions can or could apply for the protection to occur.

Adding Reservation Protection Rules

  1. From the Administration menu, select Booking, select Reservation Management, and then select Reservation Protection.

  2. Click Conditions and then click + and add a Condition or Condition Group.
  3. Click Save to save the conditions.
  4. Click Update and Close to update.

Editing Reservation Protection Rules

  1. From the Administration menu, select Booking, select Reservation Management, and then select Reservation Protection.

  2. Click Protected Fields.

  3. Click Select or Unselect the fields Available for Protection.
  4. Click Update and Close to update.
  5. Click Save to save the conditions.

Deleting Reservation Protection Rules

  1. From the Administration menu, select Booking, select Reservation Management, and then select Reservation Protection.

  2. Within a condition, click the thrash can icon icon to delete.
