Configuring Channel Rate Access

 
With the Channel Rate Access you can view discounted/negotiated rates that are enabled for booking when using an access code.

Note:

Ensure you have the necessary Channel Management module tasks at the property level assigned in OPERA Cloud Distribution.

You can search for channel rate mapping across multiple channels and properties. This option is available at both Property and Hub levels.

Editing Channel Rate Access

  1. From the Administration menu, select Distribution, select Channel Distribution, then select Channel Rate Access.

  2. HUB level - Select a Channel or Multiple Channels. All Channel Rate Plans are displayed for the selected channel.

  3. Property level - Property is auto selected.

  4. From the search results, select a row and in the Actions column, click the Edit icon icon. Some fields may be read only as they cannot be modified for a channel negotiated rate.
    1. Account ID: The account ID for which the channel rate access is configured.
    2. Account Name: The name of the account for which channel rate access is configured.
    3. Type: The type of the account for which the rate access is configured.
    4. Channel: The code of the channel used to make the booking.
    5. Channel Rate Plan Code: The code belonging to the negotiated Channel Rate Plan.
    6. Rate Code: The rate code belonging to the negotiated Channel Rate Plan.
    7. Access Code: The access code that enables users to get the negotiated rate.
    8. Start Date: Start date for the channel rate access.
    9. End Date: End date for the channel rate access.
    10. Active: The badge representing whether channel rate access is active or not.
  5. Click Update to save your edits on existing record.

Deleting Channel Rate Access

  1. From the Administration menu, select Distribution, select Channel Distribution, then select Channel Rate Access.

  2. Enter the search criteria and click Search.
  3. From the search results, select a row and in the Actions column, click the Trashcan icon icon.
  4. Click Delete to confirm.
