About the Dashboard
By default the dashboard is your home page when launching OPERA Cloud or selecting 'home' in the navigation bar; you can however select an alternate home page. For more information, see About Home Page Selection
The dashboard displays a series of tiles across one or more dashboard pages and is adaptive to the resolution of your device or workstation display.
Dashboard setup is specific to a hub (multi property) or property location. See Changing Your Location in Multi Property Operations.
You can setup standard dashboard pages for users at your chain, hub, or property locations by activating Page Composer prior to setting up the dashboard pages and tiles, hubs and properties inherit the setup from chain. When customizing property dashboard pages at the chain-level, various dashboard tiles provide an option to set a dynamic property location option; resulting in the dashboard tile displaying at property locations, with the property code changing accordingly.
In order to view a tile your role(s) must be granted the applicable user task for the dashboard tile. Some segments of a tile highlight when you hover a mouse over them, indicating that more detailed data is available when you click the area. In order to interact with the tile your roles require the necessary user task(s) granted. For example, to access Manage Blocks (search) from the Block tile your role must be granted the Manage Blocks task.

Your personalized dashboard enables you to group similar tiles together into pages or group tiles for a specific property together on pages if you manage several different locations.
You can return to the dashboard from anywhere in OPERA Cloud by clicking the dashboard icon
in the navigation bar. Each time you return to the dashboard or access a different
dashboard page, the tiles are refreshed. You can also click refresh
icon in the top right part of the dashboard to manually refresh all the tiles
displayed.
