Application Navigation

You can quickly access and manage all areas of OPERA Cloud using the following navigation options.

Application navigation function in OPERA Cloud application.
  1. Current Business Date: Displays the current business date at your property; this could be different to the system (calendar) date.

  2. Current Location: Property or Hub. Click Property or Hub. Click to change your location, set a home page or to log out of OPERA Cloud.

  3. Quick Launch and Notifications: Click The quick launch icon on the application navigation screen. or press F2 to launch Quick Launch..

  4. Dashboard: Click Dashboard icon on the application navigation screen. to display the dashboard.

  5. Notifications: Click Notifications icon on the application navigation screen. to view notifications refer Notifications.

  6. Side Menu: Click to display the side menu
  7. Home: Click OPERA Cloud to return to your home page.
  8. Menu: The primary application menu; based on the tasks granted to your role(s).
  9. Search: Enter any menu option and click Go to display matching result(s).

Side Menu

The side menu displays action links to access the various areas of OPERA Cloud including:

OPERA Cloud Application Menu options
  • Search: Enter any menu option and click Goto display matching result(s).

  • Help: Launch OPERA Cloud User Guide.

  • Settings: Click to access settings to select a different language or enable page composer customization.

  • Identity Manager: Click to launch Oracle Cloud Identity Manger to manage your user profile and password and challenge questions.

  • Credit Card Terminal: Click to select a default EMV payment terminal for your session.

  • Toggle Full Screen: Click to toggle OPERA Cloud to regular or full screen display (full screen is the default).

  • About: Click to display application information for support purposes.

  • Performance Meter: Click to launch the Performance Meter.

Notifications

Notifications is a component to alert you of certain events. When a notification is raised, you will see a number in red indicating a count of unread notices. Your role must be granted the Notifications task to access these notifications.

  1. Click the icon to open the notification panel.

  2. Click Mark All as Read to clear the unread count indicator.

  3. Click X to close the panel.
