PWA - Managing Linked Profiles
Use the Linked Profile panel to associate a Company, Travel Agent, Contact, Group and Source profile to a future or in house reservation. When the Attach Travel Agent / Source Profiles to Reservations OPERA Control is active, both a travel agent and source can be linked to a reservation. When a linked profile is Restricted, the restricted status icon is displayed and the restriction reason available.
Selecting Linked Profiles
- From the Ask Oracle menu navigate either to Arrivals, In-House, or Departures.
- Select a reservation.
- Select the Manage option from the Linked Profiles on the Reservation Page or Profiles option.
- A card with essential details of the Primary Guest Profile is displayed as well as any Linked Profile. If no Linked Profile for Travel Agent, Source or Company exists, you can select the Add option below the profile type.
- Search for the desired profile and select.
- If no profile is found, you can create a new Linked Profile through the Create option.
- Select to attach the Linked Profile.
Editing Linked Profile on a Reservation
- From the Ask Oracle menu navigate either to Arrivals, In-House, or Departures.
- Select a reservation.
- Select the Manage option from the Linked Profiles on the Reservation Page or Profiles option.
- A card with essential details of the Primary Guest Profile is displayed as well as any Linked Profile. If no Linked Profile for Travel Agent, Source or Company exists, you can select the Add option below the profile type.
- Search for the desired profile and select.
- If no profile is found, you can create a new Linked Profile through the Create option.
- Select to attach the Linked Profile.
- Alternatively if a Linked Profile exists, select View.
- You can update the Address, Attachments, Communication, Notes, Relationships
or Preferences for the Company, Source and Travel Agent Profiles.
Note:
For properties with the Commissions Handling OPERA Control active, you can view and manage commissions associated with a travel agent profile through the Commissions option.
Adding Commissions to Travel Agent Profile on a Reservation
- From the Ask Oracle menu navigate either to Arrivals, In-House, or Departures.
- Select a reservation.
- Select the Manage option from the Linked Profiles on the Reservation Page or Profiles option.
- A card with essential details of the Primary Guest Profile is displayed as well as any Linked Profile. If no Linked Profile for Travel Agent, Source or Company exists, you can select the Add option below the profile type.
- Search for the desired profile and select.
- If no profile is found, you can create a new Linked Profile through the Create option.
- Select to attach the Linked Travel Agent Profile.
- Alternatively if a Linked Profile exists, select View.
- Select the Commissions option within the Travel Agent Profile.
- Select Add Commission or alternatively swipe action right or select to Edit or Delete.
- Add Bank Account and Commission Code.
- Save/Update.
