Viewing Inventory and Rate Availability

Prerequisites for Viewing Inventory and Rate Availability

Use Inventory and Rate Availability to view Room Availability, Rates, and Restrictions in a single location. Switch between Inventory and Rate tab to view key inventory and pricing data in a single location per day, displaying occupancy statistics, revenue calculations, and availability details grouped by room type.

Viewing Inventory

  1. From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Inventory, and then select Inventory and Rate Availability.
  2. Property: Select property from the list. This field is a required field.
  3. Date: Click and select another date to view Availability for that specific date. The current date is displayed by default. This field is required.
  4. Number of guest: Select number of guest. Minimum of 1 guest is displayed by default. This field is required.
  5. Room Type: Select Room Type from the list. This field is optional.
  6. Daily Statistics: Displays occupancy statistics, revenue calculations, and availability details grouped by business day at House level.
    1. Room Available: Total count of rooms ready for sale (Physical Rooms - Rooms Sold - Out of Order + Sell Limit).
    2. Occupancy Forecast: Occupied Rooms (Rooms Sold / (Physical Rooms - Out of Order + Sell Limit x 100).
    3. ADR: Average Daily Rate (Total Room Revenue / Total Number of Rooms Sold).
    4. RevPAR: Revenue per Available Room (RevPar = Average Daily Rate (ADR) x Occupancy Rate).
    5. Rooms Sold : The total number of definite reservations (checked-in or reserved) for a specific date.
    6. Physical Inventory: Physical number of rooms configured for the property.
    7. Sell Limit : Number of rooms with a set Sell Limit (number of rooms that increase (overbook, positive sell limit) or decrease (under book, negative sell limit) the allowable rooms available to sell).
    8. Out of order: Displays all rooms with an Out of Order status.
    9. Out Of Service: Displays all rooms with an Out of Service status.

  7. Room Type details: Displays occupancy statistics, revenue calculations, and availability details grouped by business day at Room Type level.

  8. View Restrictions: Expand and view restriction type related to each business day.

Viewing Rate

  1. From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Inventory, and then select Inventory and Rate Availability.
  2. Property: Select property from the list. This field is a required field.
  3. Date: Click and select another date to view Availability for that specific date. The current date is displayed by default. This field is required.

  4. Rate Code: Displays OPERA Control Rate by default, single select editable field.

  5. Rate Currency: Shows the currency of the selected rate code.

  6. Daily Statistics: Displays occupancy statistics, revenue calculations, and availability details grouped by business day at House level.

  7. Rate details: Displays Rate by available Room Type and amounts per day and per number of guests.

  8. View Restrictions: Expand and view restriction type related to each business day.
