Configuring Leisure Resources

Resources are the people, spaces, rooms, or equipment used to provide Experiences. Configure Resource Types, then Resources and Resource Location Availability.

Resource Types

Resource Types define the resource needed: personnel, such as a therapist; space, such as a cabana or treatment room; or equipment, such as bicycle inventory. Select Inventory for quantity-controlled items, such as bicycles, pool equipment, or rental inventory.

Examples include personnel (therapist, instructor, attendant), space (cabana, boat, treatment room), and equipment (bicycle inventory, pool supplies, rental equipment).

  1. From the Administration menu, select Bookings, then Leisure Management.
  2. On the Resource Types tab, select Add.
  3. Enter the code and description.
  4. Select the Leisure Resource Category and applicable Leisure Feature Type Code.
  5. Select Inventory when quantity must be tracked.
  6. Select Set as inactive when the Resource Type should not appear by default.
  7. Select a translation language when required. See Configuring Localized Code Descriptions.
