Accessing Reporting And Analytics
You can launch Reporting and Analytics in a separate browser tab.
-
From the Reports menu, select Reporting And Analytics.
-
Enter your R&A credentials.
Granting Permission to Run Reports
Assign the user to an Identity Manager group that grants permission to run R&A reports. As a best practice, create and configure a dedicated OPERAREPORTS group. Alternatively, you can use the seeded REPORTINGADMIN group. See Creating a Group and Setting Group Permissions.
Granting Access to Permitted Data
First, determine the security model used by your R&A organization. Open the Reporting and Analytics Application Portal, select About, and review the OCIM Active value. A value of Yes indicates that your organization uses the Identity Manager security model; a value of No indicates that it uses the R&A security model.
- If your R&A organization uses the R&A security model, define data access for individual users in R&A. See Setting Data Access.
- If your R&A organization uses the Identity Manager security model, assign an Identity Manager group that controls the user’s data access. See Configuring Access Using Identity Manager.
