REPORTING - NEW FEATURES AND ENHANCEMENTS


End-of-Day Reporting Enhancement

You can now use End of Day Reporting to schedule analysis reports for delivery when the property end of day (EOD) from OPERA is identified.

Note: For an analysis report to qualify for use during EOD, the report must be configured with Property as Is Prompted under Filters to identify the correct property’s end of day reporting data.

These reports are limited to email delivery only.




Flex Dynamic Field Tables Added

The following tables are added to Reporting and Analytics as part of the Flexible Dynamic Fields functionality:

  • FLEX_DYNAMIC_FIELD_CONFIG_E

  • FLEX_DYNAMIC_FIELD_DATA_E




GDS_RATE_CODE_NEG_SECURITY and RATE$CODE_ROUT_INSTR Tables Added

The following tables are added to Reporting and Analytics database:

Housekeeping Task Sheet Reports Updates

Housekeeping Tasksheet BI Publisher Report

  • Back To Back indicator shows a 'Y' when the Back to Back Handling for Linked Reservations OPERA Control is active and the reservation is Back To Back.

  • Membership Level Code field is replaced with Membership Level Description field in the Room Details section of the report. Membership Level Code field is available in the data model.


Housekeeping Tasksheet OBIEE Report

  • Membership Level Code field is replaced with Membership Level Description field in the existing HK Task Sheet report. Membership Level Code field is available in the Reservation Detail folder of the subject area.

  • Back To Back Reservation field is available in the Housekeeping Task Sheets folder of the subject area to create a new report with this field.




Integration Configurations Subject Area Added

A new Integration Configurations Subject Area is added to build reports on the Interface Subject Area for Internal (Support Org) and External (Tenant) users. 

The subject area includes External System Properties, External Databases, Business Event Configuration, Interface Setup, Interface Mappings, and Interface Parameters.

The following interface tables in the OPERA Schema are added to Reporting and Analytics.

The Promotion Coupon Codes Subject Area is added to create reports based on promotion coupon code details.

Country Specific - Spain - ES_SII Export Added

The ES_SII Export is available in Reporting and Analytics using ES_SII.xml located in /Shared Folders/Templates/Fiscal/Spain folder.

Country Specific - Türkiye – RESMIMUSTERI, RESMI MUSTERI LISTESI and KBS Reports Updated

The Resmimusteri (Data Model) and Resmi Musteri Listesi and KBS Reports are updated, and located in /Shared Folders/Templates/Fiscal/TUR folder. The previous reports are no longer available.

NOTE:Full details showing how to configure and run the RESMI MUSTERI LISTESI and KBS to provide the required data is available in the Turkey - Oracle Hospitality OPERA Cloud Fiscal Reference Guide.

The BIP Report Performance Summary Report provides a summary of all reports run within a specific date range, such as maximum and minimum run time, number failed, produced no data, not found, or invalid parameters.

The Waiting BIP Job Details Report provides details on all BIP jobs that are in waiting status within a specific date range, including User Job Names, Owner, Job Status, Status Details, etc.

New Block Status Change BI Publisher (BIP) Report Added

The Block Status Change Report displays a count by status, block details, and revenue information for blocks that changed status within the selected date range.

The Block Status Change Report is located in the /Shared Folders/Templates/Blocks and Groups subfolder.

New Block Status Change Report Added

The Block Status Change Report identifies blocks which have changed status within a specific time period.

The Block Status Change Report is a template report located in the Sales and Events subfolder.

New Journal By Cashier and Transaction Codes Report (finjrnlbytrans)

The Journal By Transaction Code report displays each posted transaction code and its corresponding amount for a particular date. The ability to filter on a Transaction Code is available. Each transaction code displays the cashier that posted the transaction, any taxes that apply, and if any package credits exist for that particular code.

New Reservation Authorizations Report Added

The Reservation Authorizations report displays back to back reservations that require new authorizations.

The Reservation Authorizations report is a template report located in the /Shared Folders/Templates/Financial subfolder.

Bookings-Block Subject Area Updated

The Bookings-Block Subject Area is updated with the new Available Occupancy 1-4 and On The Books (OTB) Rooms and On The Books (OTB) Occupancy 1-4 attributes within the Room & Rate subfolder within the Room & Rate Grid folder.

Bookings-Reservation Subject Area Updated

The Bookings-Reservation subject area is updated with the following new attributes in the Daily Details folder:

Brand Code Attribute Added to all Property Details Folders

The Brand Code attribute is added to all subject areas that contain the Property Details folder.

Catering-Events and Resources Subject Area Updated

The Catering-Events and Resources subject area is updated with the following attributes in the Business Date Calendar folder within the new Dates folder.

These attributes allow you to select Month, Year, Quarter or other date options rather than manually building these fields each time.

Profiles-Accounts Subject Area Enhancement

Previously in the Profiles-Accounts subject area the profiles were displayed at the chain level and showed all negotiated rates regardless of those associated to the property. The Profiles-Accounts subject area now only displays property assigned negotiated rates.
