Creating a BI Publisher Report

  1. In the R&A application screen, select the drop down menu for “Create” and click on “Report”.

  2. From the pop up screen, select “Use Data Model” and search for the appropriate Data Model in the “Data Model” box. Click on “Next”.

  3. In the “Select Layout” tab:

    1. Select “Portrait” or “Landscape”

    2. Add “Page Header” and/or “Page Footer”

    3. Select the desired layout

  4. Click “Next”.

  5. In the “Create Table” tab, drag and drop the necessary attributes onto the report screen.

  6. Check the “Show Grand Totals Row” if necessary. Click on “Preview Report”

  7. A separate tab will open displaying the report. Close tab and return to the report screen.

  8. Click “Next”.

  9. The “Save Report” tab will appear. User can select to “View Report” or “Customize Report Layout” and click “Finish”.

  10. The report can be viewed or exported in the following formats:

    1. Interactive

    2. HTML

    3. PDF

    4. RTF

    5. Excel(*.xlsx)

    6. PowerPoint(*.pptx)
