Event Rules

It might be of interest to external systems or users to know that a certain authorization during processing has reached a certain Process Step or a certain Rule Step has got executed with a certain message. By defining the event rules, the system can publish event messages to an external system when the configured condition(s) occur.

The following fields are available as part of the setup:

Code

Identifying code

Topic

Topic to be sent in the published message. Used to group related events together

Event

Event to be sent in the published message

Authorization Type

If specified, a message is published only for authorizations with the matching authorization type

Authorization Form

If specified, a message is published only for authorizations with the matching authorization form

Message Group

If specified, one of the authorization messages should match one of the messages in the group

Service Type

If specified, one of the service types on the authorization should match this service type

Procedure Group

If specified, one of the procedures of the authorization should match one of the procedures in the group. The criterion is met if one of the authorization lines procedures is part of the procedure group on the authorization line start date

Diagnosis Group

If specified, the diagnosis on the authorization should match one of the diagnoses in the group. The criterion is met if one of the diagnoses on the authorization is part of the diagnosis group on the authorization start date

Condition

The dynamic logic condition that is used to check the authorization. If specified, then along with the other fixed criteria, the condition must also evaluate to true for the event rule to be triggered

Authorization Fields

Dynamic logic function that defines a list of name value pairs that are included in the event message

Reraise Event?

Should the event rule also fire a second time (this can only be prevented if the authorization event history is logged)

Log Event?

Do the events fired by this rule need to be logged in the authorization event history?

Display in UI?

Should the authorization event history for the event rule be shown in the UI?

Enabled?

Is the event rule enabled for execution?
