Description

OpenID Connect standard allows third-party applications to verify the identity of the end-user and to obtain basic user profile information using tokens.

Listed below are the changes made to Single Sign-on (SSO) Common profile switches to support re-authentication based on the Open ID connect standard. OpenID Connect is provided as another option under Re-authentication mode along with Oracle Access Manager (OAM).

When you select OpenID Connect, the following configuration parameters are enabled for configuration:

• Authority URL
• Authorization Endpoint
• Token Endpoint
• Redirect URI
• Client ID
• Client Secret

When you select Oracle Access Manager, the current fields related to IDM configuration are enabled as per existing functionality.
