Overview of the steps to set up the dictionary database

Setting up the dictionary database is the same for both standard and custom dictionaries.

1. Create a dictionary repository.

   Use to create a repository in the database to hold the dictionaries associated with a connection.

   Although you can create multiple repositories, only one repository can be connected at a time.

2. Create a connection to the database.

3. Connect to the database.

4. View the dictionaries available for a database connection.

   Use to view information about the dictionary types that are available for a connection.

5. Import the dictionary type XML file.

   Use to import the dictionary type XML file for a dictionary.
