Selecting a certificate for Oracle Life Sciences InForm Adapter authentication

Certificate authentication can be used in the following cases between Oracle Central Coding and Oracle Life Sciences InForm Adapter interfaces:

• Adapter Admin—When the Adapter URL starts with https.
• Coding and Discrepancy web services—When you prefer the certificate authentication method to the username/password method, when the Adapter URL starts with https.

To select a certificate, or replace the certificate that is currently in use, run the utility PhaseForward.CentralCoding.UpdateIACertificate.exe located in <Installation Folder>\CentralCodingServer\CodingWebUI\bin.

Run the utility from the command line with one of the parameters:

• /?—Displays command help and exit codes.
• /s<certificate name> <certificate thumbprint>—Selects the specified certificate to be used for Oracle Life Sciences InForm Adapter authentication.
• /r—Removes the certificate that is used for Oracle Life Sciences InForm Adapter authentication.
