Adding additional dictionaries

You cannot add dictionaries through the Oracle Central Coding application. In order to have new dictionaries imported, your Oracle Services consultant has to create the appropriate tickets.

To request a new dictionary version for an upgrade:

1. Contact your Oracle Services consultant.
2. Provide your Oracle Services consultant with the new dictionary versions and formats you need.
   Before importing the new dictionaries, Oracle contacts the UMC and/or MSSO to verify your organization holds the appropriate licenses for the specific versions requested.
3. After importing the new dictionaries, your Oracle Services consultant configures the new dictionary in Oracle Central Coding based on the requirements document completed for the upgrade project.

   Note:

   In most cases, Oracle will handle the dictionary upgrade in its entirety. However, if you need coding reconciliation, your Oracle Services consultant reviews the process with you.
