8 About dictionary information

A coding dictionary is a standardized collection of terms and the codes that correspond to those terms.

You can view the list of loaded dictionaries and the details for each dictionary, or use the coding browser to become familiar with the terms in the dictionary hierarchy.

Note:

Coding dictionaries are not included in the Oracle Central Coding installation and must be loaded separately by an Oracle Support representative. You cannot add or remove dictionaries using the Oracle Central Coding user interface.
