Reconcile Verbatim page

This page is used for impact analysis. The page lists each verbatim affected by the dictionary upgrade.

The help for this page includes descriptions for core fields, actions, and buttons only.

Fields

Field Description

Reason filter

Filters the items to view, based on the reason for a code and term change between dictionary versions.

Reason

The type of change found during impact analysis.

Context Items

Information from the source application such as the indication and route of administration for drugs.

This column appears only for the WHO-DD or JDrug dictionary, or a dictionary for which context items are defined.

Original Coding Type

The type of coding originally performed on the verbatim.

  • I—Interactive
  • A—Automatic

Original Code and Term

Opens the Compare Coding Results dialog box, where you can view the differences in the coding results between the original and new dictionary version. This option is available only if the original code and term also exist in the new dictionary version.

If a different code and term exist in the new dictionary version for the verbatim, a red asterisk icon appears.

New Code and Term

Opens the Compare Coding Results dialog box, where you can view the differences in the coding results between the original and new dictionary version.

The new code and term appear only if the Oracle Central Coding application successfully autocoded the verbatim using the new coding definition.

The Code link displays the code value for the term in the dictionary version.

The Code link in parenthesis opens the Coding Browser dialog box, where you can interactively code the verbatim.

Algorithm Step

The step and its order in the algorithm where the New Code and Term were found.

Done

Indicates whether the decisions are complete for a verbatim. The Oracle Central Coding application applies the changes to the verbatim only after you select Approve All.

Accept Uncode

If selected, the Oracle Central Coding application rejects the original or new coding, and returns the verbatim to the coder's queue.

This option appears if Allow Uncode is selected on the System Configuration page.
