Study locks management

You lock a study in the Oracle Central Coding application to prepare the study for decommissioning. Locking a study prevents coders and approvers from:

  • Viewing the associated requests on the Coding Requests and Approvals pages.
  • Propagating the associated coded values, approvals, disapprovals, and cleared codes.
  • Manually recoding the associated verbatims against a new dictionary version.
  • Editing study data while the study is locked in the Oracle InForm application.

On the All Requests page, only administrators can view the requests associated with the study.
