Replace a device

If something happened to a device that was already dispensed to a subject, you can always replace it. Both devices with a cloud-to-cloud and device-to-cloud connection can be replaced.

If you need to dispense the same device to another subject in the study, work with your clinical supply manager. For the exact workflow, see How do I dispense the same device to another subject?.

  1. On the Home page, determine where to work. For more information, see Access study modes and pages.
  2. Along the top, make sure Subjects is selected.
  3. Filter your view based on several criteria. For more information, see Filter subjects in a study.
  4. In the table, locate the subject whose dispensed device kit types you want to update.
  5. Select the checkbox to the left of the subject.
  6. On the right, below Subject History, click the menu button (Menu icon) for the device that you want to manage.
  7. From the drop-down menu, select Replace.
  8. In the Replace Kits pop-up, the device that you want to replace is already selected. Select a Reason for Replacement, and click Finish.
  9. In the Replace Device pop-up, click Finish.

    Note:

    You can only replace one device at a time.
