Update a Screening or Enrollment date
Modify system assigned dates for screening and enrollment when needed.
In some cases, you may need to update a screening or enrollment date after the system automatically assigned one when the transaction was completed, ensuring information included in reports and extracts is accurate and can be integrated into downstream systems.
Consider the following before updating a Screening or Enrollment date:
- Only users assigned to a study role that includes the Screen Subjects permission can edit screen and enrollment dates.
- Screening and Enrollment dates cannot be after the date of Completion or Withdrawal visits (if these dates are present at the time).
- When modifying an enrollment date, it cannot be set prior to the screening date, and cannot be set to after the date of the next scheduled visit following the enrollment visit.
- When modifying the assigned screening date, it cannot be set prior to the date of the screening visit, and cannot be set to after the visit date of the next scheduled visit for the initial screening visit.
- The screening date for rescreen visits must be set to after or on the previous screening and screen fail dates and cannot be set after the next scheduled visit.
- The screening visit cannot be after a subsequent screening or screen fail date.
Note:
The restrictions apply only to changing the screening date; they do not apply to visit dates.
The order of the screening and screen fail events is based on the order of the visits in which they occurred.
