Receive a shipment with disabled temperature excursions
Mark kits in a shipment as Missing or Damaged when you choose not to allow temperature excursions in your study.
If you disallow temperature excursions for your study when defining the supply settings, the system will prompt you to mark any kits that are damaged or missing in the shipment at receipt. For more information on configuring supply settings for a study, see Specify supply settings.
Note:
Be aware that all non-serialized inventory is grouped. Instead of individual kit numbers, non-serialized kits display in the user interface (UI) as lot numbers followed by the quantity.Because non-serialized kits can arrive at different date and times, the Date Received column on the Site Inventory page does not include any data and appears blank for all non-serialized inventory.
To mark impacted kits when temperature excursions are deactivated for a study:
After selecting Finish:
- The status of the selected kits are updated to Damaged or Missing.
- The Registered On (UTC) and Received On (UTC) fields on the Shipments tab are initially populated with the same dateāthe date on which the shipment was registered in Clinical One Cloud Service.
The Received On (UTC) field can be updated to reflect the actual receipt date. The selected date must be on or after the shipment creation date and on or before the Registered On (UTC) date.
This is useful when a shipment is registered after it is received, allowing you to backdate the Received On (UTC) field to reflect the actual receipt date.Note:
You must have the Edit Shipment Received Date permission to modify the Received On (UTC) field. For more information, see Descriptions of permissions in Clinical One Cloud Service
