Step 2: Deploy Signal application
In this step you will unlock, deploy, and lock again the Signal server.
From the Weblogic Server drop-down, select Deployments.
From the Change Center drop-down, select Lock & Edit.
In the Deployments table drop-down, select Deploy for the Install Application Assistant wizard to appear.
On the Select Archive page select the following to deploy Java EE applications:
In the Archive or Exploded Directory section, select the radio-button Archive or exploded directory is on the server where Enterprise Manager is running.
Select Browse to access the Signal library and type in for example scratch/u01/stage/Signal_Install/Signal/Signal.
On the Deployment Plan section, select the radio-button Create a new deployment plan when deployment configuration is done.
On the Deployment Type section, select from the radio-button Deploy this archive or exploded directory as a an application.
Select Next.
On the Select Target page, select SignalServer.
Select Next.
On the Application Attributes page, under the Other Options section:
In the Distribution section, select Install and start application (servicing all requests).
In the Application Source Accessibility section, select Use the defaults defined by the deployment's targets. Recommended selection.
Select Next and Deploy for the Deployment Succeeded message to appear on a Summary page. Signal appears with a New state in the Deployments table.
In the Change Center pane, select Activate Changes for Signal to appear with an Active state in the Deployments table.
