Edit a user role

You can check or clear the Permissions check boxes to assign permissions to, or remove permissions from, a user role.

1. In the left navigation pane, click the Settings icon ().
2. In the Manage Users section, click Edit Roles.
3. For the user role you want to edit, click Edit.
4. On the Edit Roles page, check or clear the Permissions check boxes to assign permissions to, or remove permissions from, the user role. See User permissions for information about which Oracle Empirica Signal activities are made available by each permission.
5. Click Save.

   If you modify permissions for an existing user role, then users currently logged in and associated with the user role are not affected by the changes during their current session. The changes take effect the next time they log into the application.
