View the Users list
The Users page provides information about each user. You can also add users, view the licenses needed for each user, print or download the table, perform operations on multiple accounts, and disable or enable accounts.
View existing users
- In the left navigation pane, click the Settings icon (
).
- In the Manage Users section, click Edit Users.
The Users page lists users who are in the same login group as you. If you are a superuser, all users are listed.
General activities
The following links appear the top of the Users page and affect the entire page:
- Select Add a New User to add or edit a user in a self-hosted environment.
- Select License Usage to view active licensed user counts.
- Select Back to return to the Settings page.
- Select Columns to arrange the table columns and rows.
- Select Select Rows to apply actions to multiple rows in the Users list.

You can filter the rows by Login Group (if you are a superuser), Status, and Authentication.
You can also specify the number of Rows Per Page to display by providing a number in the Rows Per Page field.
Row-specific activities
- Edit: Revise the information about a user account, designate the account as a superuser, manage the account password, and disable or enable the account.
- Disable/Enable: If selected, the user account is disabled or enabled. Disabled users cannot log in, receive notifications, or have objects such as topics assigned to them.
- Delete: Delete a local user if you are a superuser.
Field descriptions—Users page

User Name |
Unique name of the user account. |
| ID | Unique number of the user account. |

Name |
Full name (first name and last name) associated with the user account. |

Alternate Count |
If populated with 0, the account is not acting as a principal account. The zero value displays as an empty column. If populated with 1 or greater, the account is a principal account. |

Principal Name |
Populated only for an alternate account, this is the principal account the alternate account belongs to. |
| Created | Date and time when the user was created. |

Email address associated with the user name. This address (or addresses, separated by commas) is the default notification address for runs if the run creator chooses email notification. This address is also used when a user with the Administer Users permission sends a message to all users and is used when a message is generated by a Topic email notification rule. |

Authentication |
One of the following values:

Login Group |
Appears only if you are a superuser. This is the login group associated with the user. |

Status |
One of the following values:
Note: This value is determined by the Account disabled check box on the Edit User page. |

Quota |
Maximum amount of server space in megabytes (MB) that the user is permitted to use for creating runs. Blank for users who do not have a quota (that is, unlimited runs permitted). |
