3 Sign in for the first time

A delegated administrator must create your account before you can sign in for the first time.

To sign in for the first time when your organization uses the Security Questions flow:

If your organization uses the Security Questions flow to reset account passwords, you receive two emails: one with your username and another with a password. Sign in to set up your account and define your own password.

Select the Oracle Life Sciences Cloud account link in the Account Password Email you received.
Sign in using the username from the New Account Email and the password from the Account Password Email.
Enter the old password you received in the Account Password Email.
Enter the new password and confirm the new password.
Choose three of the available challenge questions from the list, and enter answers for them.
Select Submit.
Your password is changed, and the Sign In page opens.
Sign in using your new password. Depending on your organization's setup, you are redirected to one of the following:
- Oracle Health Sciences My Oracle Bookmarks.
  From here, you can open any study or application that you work in.
- Oracle Life Sciences Cloud landing page.
  The studies and applications that you work in are listed under My Applications.

To sign in for the first time when your organization uses the Email Link flow:

If your organization uses the Email Link flow to reset account passwords, you receive the New Account Email containing a link to create your password.

Select the link in the New Account Email you received.
Enter your password and confirm the password.
Select Continue.
Your password is created.
Select the Oracle Life Sciences Cloud account link in the New Account Email you received.
Sign in using your password. Depending on your organization's setup, you are redirected to one of the following:
- Oracle Health Sciences My Oracle Bookmarks.
  From here, you can open any study or application that you work in.
- Oracle Life Sciences Cloud landing page.
  The studies and applications that you work in are listed under My Applications.

Note:

Customers who move to the updated Oracle Identity Self Service console can use an email confirmation code for password reset. The first sign-in experience depends on your organization's password reset flow.
