Creating an XML import file
The import file for the MedML file option is an XML file that contains elements that
specify the type of processing to perform during the import and the destinations and
values of the import data. The file can contain tags for the following types of import
actions:
- Screening and enrolling a subject.
- Adding new subject data.
- Updating existing subject data.
- Transferring a subject from one site to another.
To create the import file, use any text editor that creates plain text files. For more information, see Appendix A: Sample data import XML.
