Creating IVRS roles in Oracle InForm User Management Tool

Before creating roles, groups, and users, be aware that:
  • All role names, group names and user names are case-sensitive.
  • For Fast Start production and UAT studies, all integration roles, groups and users will be created as part of the generated XML file. For Fast Forward production and UAT studies, all integration roles, groups and users will be created through automated worklists.
To integrate IVRS in Oracle InForm User Management Tool, you need to set up the following roles, groups, and users.
  1. For the integration role, create a sponsor role called solIVRSVendornamehere Rights Group with the following rights:
    • Enroll Patients
    • View CRF
    • Enter Data into a CRF
    • Edit Data on a CRF
    • Enter Comments into a CRF
    • Freeze a CRF
    • Unfreeze a CRF
    • Lock a CRF
    • Unlock a CRF

This role also needs access to the following groups:

    • Authors
    • Publishers
    • Sponsor Users Report
  2. Create an item group called solIVRSVendornamehere.

    Note:

If you want to have multiple item groups, add an incremental number at the end of the group name. For example, solIVRSVendornamehere1, solIVRSVendornamehere2, etc.
  3. Set the solIVRSVendornamehere group from the previous step as Editable.
This will set a display override for the solIVRSVendornamehere Rights Group role created in step 1.
  4. For the integration user, create a sponsor user called solIVRSVendornamehere and assign it the solIVRSVendornamehere Rights Group role and solIVRSVendornamehere item group.

    Note:

If you are creating the user through a MUL import, user mode must be set to Interactive User (column AS in the Users tab).
  5. For the configuration role, create a sponsor role called solAdmin Rights Group, with the following rights:
    • Modify System Configuration
    • Create User
    • Modify User Information
    • Manage Rights Groups
    • Manage Other Groups
    • Manage Sites
    • View CRF
    • View CRF Signature Information
    • View Case Book Signature Information
    • Reports
    • Deactivate a Rule
    • Run a Rule
    • Modify a Rule
    • View Connections
    • View Default Connection
    • Navigate by Visit
    • Navigate by Form

    Note:

Some of these rights are version-specific. Ignore any rights that do not appear as options in Oracle InForm User Management Tool.

This role also needs access to the following report groups:

    • Authors
    • Publishers
    • Sponsor Users Report
  6. For the configuration user, create a sponsor user, assign it the configuration role and authorize it for Oracle InForm.

    Note:

If you are creating the user through a MUL import, user mode must be set to Interactive User (column AS in the Users tab).
