Creating Oracle Central Coding roles in Oracle InForm User Management Tool

Before creating roles, groups, and users, be aware that:
  • All role names, group names and user names are case-sensitive.
  • For Fast Start production and UAT studies, all integration roles, groups and users will be created as part of the generated XML file. For Fast Forward production and UAT studies, all integration roles, groups and users will be created through automated worklists.
To integrate Oracle Central Coding in Oracle InForm User Management Tool, you need to set up the following roles, groups, and users.
  1. For the integration role, create a sponsor role called Coding Integration Rights Group with the following rights:
    • Change Query State from Answered to Closed
    • Change Query State from Open to Closed
    • Answer Query
    • Enter Query in Open State
  2. Create a query group called Coding Query Group and associate the Coding Integration Rights Group role to this query group.
  3. For the integration user, create a sponsor user called cc_integration, assign it the Coding Integration Rights Group and the Coding Query Group, then authorize it for Oracle InForm access.
  4. For the authentication role, create a sponsor role called Coding Authentication Rights Group, with the following right:
    • Print.
  5. For the authenticator user, create a sponsor user called cc_auth, assign it the Coding Authentication Rights Group role, then authorize it for Oracle InForm access.

    Note:

If you are creating the user through a MUL import, user mode must be set to Interactive User (column AS in the Users tab).
