The 23.8.1 enhancements and changes listed in this document are not available to customers until they are upgraded to NetSuite for Government 23.8.1. Your access to these features and SuiteApps is subject to the terms of service in your NetSuite for Government contract.

NetSuite for Government Version 23.8.1 – Release Date August 22, 2023

Finance:

  • Government General Ledger Inquiry
    • General Ledger Summary screen for financial review of the general ledger details
    • General Ledger Inquiry screen allows to view financial segments by various date ranges to see trial balance or budget vs actuals. Delve into transactional level details to audit or review discrepancies
    • Fine tuning of General Ledger Inquiry screen
    • Provided access to Finance Director, Accounting Manager and Accountant
    • User Interface
    • Filtering lower half of the screen to allow reconciliation with the amounts on upper half of the screen
    • Report updates to Approved Government Budgets, Government Transfers, General Ledger Posting
    • Field level help for General Ledger Inquiry
    • Added validation to the remaining balance field when budget is zero – “No Budget” should display
    • Encumbrance displayed in the General Ledger Inquiry
    • Fund Validation String to include Statistical Accounts
    • Reports added to the menu under Reports > Financial. Reports searchable in the global search under the screen names of General Ledger Inquiries and General Ledger Summary.
