The NetSuite for Government Reporting 25.12.1 enhancements and changes listed in this document are not available to customers until they are upgraded to NetSuite for Government Reporting 25.12.1. Your access to these features and SuiteApps is subject to the terms of service in your NetSuite for Government contract.

NetSuite for Government Reporting Version 25.12.1 – Release Date December 26, 2025
- Budget vs Actuals Report:
- Allow users to group by account types in budget vs actuals report.
Various Fixes and Performance Improvements
Human Resources and Payroll:- Utah W2 Report:
Employee Selection Criteria Enhancement:
- Employees are included in the report by evaluating the
“Utah State Taxable Wages” (Pay Bucket ID: ns4g_utahtx_pay) for the
date range 1/1/[Reporting Year] to 12/31/[Reporting Year].
- If 'Utah State Taxable Wages' is zero or null, the employee is excluded from the report.
- If 'Utah State Taxable Wages' is not zero, the employee is included in the report.
- The report no longer excludes employees who lack a position and pay.
- Employees are included in the report by evaluating the
“Utah State Taxable Wages” (Pay Bucket ID: ns4g_utahtx_pay) for the
date range 1/1/[Reporting Year] to 12/31/[Reporting Year].
- Iowa W2 Report Enhancements:
- Fields Removed:
The following fields have been removed from the Define Data page, as they are no longer required:
- Submitter Name
- Preparer Code
- User Identification Number
- SUI Taxable Wage Base Limit
- Quarter Field Eliminated:
The Quarter field has been removed from the Define Data section. Reports are now only based on the Reporting Period Year.
- State Employer Account Number Formatting:
- The State Employer Account Number is now restricted to a maximum of 12 digits. Typically, this is a nine-digit number prefixed by three zeros.
- Selection Criteria Logic
Year-Based Search:
- The report now uses the Reporting Period Year set in the Report Definition to identify all pay lines within that year. Logic based on quarters has been removed, as W2 reports are always based on the calendar year.
- Data Record Updates:
RA Record:RW, RS, and RT Records:
- System logic previously managed in NS4G System Setup has been migrated to Payroll and HR Preferences. Multi Entity logic has been added to align with standard EFW2 requirements.
- Dollar amounts are now formatted without decimals, as specified: all dollars and cents are included, with the decimal point assumed (for example, $59.60 is now displayed as 00000005960).
- State Employer Account formatting has been updated where applicable.
