Edit a Business Day

You must be a Payment Administrator to edit a business day.

When you edit a business day it takes effect moving forward, but does not impact historical data.

  1. In Payment Cloud Service, click Locations at the bottom of the dashboard, and then click Manage Business Day.
  2. The current business day definition is shown at the top of the page.
  3. Click Start, select the day and time for the start of day, and then click Done. The End date and time is automatically populated for the day and time 24 hours later.
    If you do not want to use a 24 hour interval, deselect 24 hour period and then adjust the End date and time.
  4. Select whether the business day should be counted when the transaction is received or fulfilled.
    For example, if a transaction is authorized on a Monday, but completed on a Thursday, it will report on a Monday if Received is selected and reports on a Thursday if Fulfilled is selected. If a transaction is authorized and completed on a Monday, then it reports on that day no matter what the selection is.
  5. Click Save.
