Edit a Location

Make changes to a location record.

For details about required privileges, see Predefined Payment Groups and Privileges.

Addresses can be edited with the correct privilege, but you must be a Payment Administrator to edit the location name, location reference, and time zone.

The location reference can’t be edited after the location is assigned to a business account.

  1. Click Locations at the bottom of the dashboard, and then click the location you want to update.
  2. Click More Actions and then click Edit Location Details.
  3. Make the edits to the address or contact information.
  4. Click Continue.
  5. Make the edits to the business account, merchant category and industry code, or card statement descriptor.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Review the confirmation message and then click Confirm.
