Terminal Menus Guide

This section describes how to access and use the menu functions available on approved Oracle Payment Cloud Service payment devices. The information is applicable across supported terminal models. Menu labels and navigation may vary slightly depending on device type and configuration.

Oracle Payment Terminals are integrated with Oracle Payment Cloud Service and are designed to process transactions initiated from connected POS or PMS systems. While terminals include menu-driven functionality, it is typically limited to operational, diagnostic, and support-related activities.

Access the Terminal Menus

The method for accessing the terminal menu depends on the terminal type:

Terminals with a Physical Keypad

  1. Settings Menu: Press 9, then the Confirm key (green circle),
  2. Transactions Menu: Press 8, then the Confirm key (green circle)
  3. Select an option and enter the administrator passcode when prompted.

Touchscreen Only Terminals (No Physical Keypad)

  1. Tap the screen to wake the device.
  2. Settings Menu: Select the Settings icon.
  3. Transactions Menu: Select the Transactions icon.
  4. Select an option and enter the administrator passcode when prompted.

Settings Menu

The Settings menu allows basic terminal configuration.

Available options may include:

Tip: This can also be accessed where a keypad is present, by pressing 5, then the Confirm key (green circle).

Caution: Software updates are managed and deployed by Oracle. Do not initiate updates unless instructed by Oracle Support.

Transactions Menu

The Transactions menu provides access to transaction records.

Note: Oracle Payments does not support standalone transactions initiated directly from the terminal outside of integrated workflows.
