Testing and Validation

Before considering the setup complete:

• Connectivity Testing

  • Confirm access to the ADW instance through private endpoint from an OCI private endpoint subnet.

    Verification steps are given later in this guide.

  • Confirm access to the ADW Instance through private endpoint from on-premises systems. Use tools such as traceroute, telnet, and nslookup to validate routing, port accessibility, and DNS resolution.

• OCI Diagnostics

  Use OCI diagnostic tools such as VCN Flow Logs to verify traffic flow and troubleshoot issues.

• Coordinate with Oracle Support

  • If connectivity issues persist from OCI PE subnet, raise SR using the CSI for retail for assistance.

  • If connectivity issues persist and SaaS and OCI-side configurations appear to be correct, contact the Oracle network team through Oracle Support for assistance. Testing both the forward and reverse paths is essential to ensure full functionality.

• Credential Rotation Notification

  After completing the credential rotation notification setup, submit a support request for a forced reshare of credentials. This action does not rotate credentials; it only reissues them to validate the notification setup.
