Oracle Retail Integration Cloud Service 22.1.401.0 is a Critical Update. This section describes the feature enhancements in this release.

Note:

Oracle Retail has adopted a new numbering system to correlate the release numbers with Major Updates and the calendar for better clarity. The first two digits are the calendar year; the next digit is the Major release number; the third three digits reflect the calendar quarter and the month within that quarter; and the final digit represents the hot fix sequence.

Supported Retail Integration Products

The Oracle Retail Integration Cloud Service (RICS) is comprised of the Oracle Retail Integration Suite of products that are cloud deployable for a customer's integration to Oracle Retail applications and the customer's on-premises or hybrid configurations of third-party applications.

The integration products supported and mentioned in this document are the same as the generally available on-premises versions of the following applications:

  • Oracle Retail Integration Bus (RIB)

  • Oracle Retail Bulk Data Integration (BDI)

  • Retail Financial Integration (RFI)

  • Universal service Mapper (USM).

Column Definitions

  • Feature: Provides a description of the feature being delivered.

  • Delivered: Identifies whether the feature is Enabled or Disabled upon initial delivery.

  • Scale: Identifies the size of the feature. Options are:

    • Small: These UI or Process-based features are typically comprised of minor field, validation, or program changes. Therefore, the potential impact to users is minimal.

    • Large: These UI or process-based features have more complex designs. Therefore, the potential impact to users is higher.

  • Customer Action Required: You must take action before these features can be used. these features are delivered disabled and you choose if and when to enable them.

This feature is used only for provisioning of environments and is invisible to the customers.

RIB

The IDCS Scope for Authorization is Supported for Oauth2 ResT Publish (inbound) Calls to RIB

OAuth2 REST publish (Inbound) calls to RIB now works with IDCS scopes. RICS IDCS app scope should be used for making publish calls to rib (for example, rgbu:rics:RICS-<ENV_INDEX>).

IDCS OAuth2.0 is now Supported in DDS Application

In Dynamic Data Service (DDS), the Oauth2 feature has been introduced. Customers can use Oauth2 with client credentials as grant_type to invoke the DDS REST API services.
