Job Controls and Monitoring Enhancements

With this update, added a check to the Job Management (My Jobs) screen to prevent deletion of a job that is actually running. If you attempt to delete a job that is running, the screen displays an error message.

Note:

If a job remains on the Job Management screen but is no longer active, Oracle recommends that you use the JOBCLN periodic function to correct it.

  • Removed the RBJC menu option. The JOBCLN periodic function should be used instead to reset the status of the background jobs.

  • Changed the subject line of the Order Management System Support Notification email to indicate the host name and the app server name rather than the server name and the IP address.

  • Queue changes to jobs at the Job Management screen are now logged in the CWDirect.log. For example: Queue Change: User USERNAME has moved job number 123456 / name IJCTSTART from queue QBATCH to queue QSYSNOMAX.
