Resend Failed Fulfilled and Intransit Updates to Order Broker

With this update, if a successful response is not received from Order Broker for a shipping Order Status Update request message on a delivery or ship-for-pickup order, the billing async job sets the status of the Order Broker record in Order Management System to:

  • Delivery orders: Resend Fulfilled status (G).

  • Ship-for-pickup orders: Resend Intransit status (H).

For example, this situation might occur if message authentication failed, or communication with Order Broker is down.

The next time the BROKER_ORD job runs, it submits another Order Status Update request message for orders in these statuses.

Optionally, use the Order Broker Aging Report to identify when Order Broker lines are in Resend Fulfilled or Resend Intransit status, indicating that communication with Order Broker has failed, since these new statuses have been added to the report.
