Batch Notification Window Warning Message

During the batch notification window, both administration users and non-administration users receive the same warning message as is provided in the ad hoc notification window, as shown in the following figure. The only difference is that no end time is provided as there is no way to know when the batch will finish, and the non-administration user has the same restrictions as in the ad hoc blackout window.

During the batch notification window, non-administration users will be restricted in the same way as in the ad hoc blackout window. However, unlike in the ad hoc blackout window, the administration user is also restricted. Administration user can start a wizard process or submit a new task such as a workbook build or a commit; however, the task will be in pending state until the batch is finished. The newly created task may not show up in the task dashboard until the batch is finished.

Blackout window applicable to all applications in the PDS

The blackout window as well as the notification window will apply for all the applications registered in the PDS. For example,a blackout window configured via a Batch or OAT task in MFPCS application and if there is also APCS application deployed in the PDS, the blackout window applicable for APCS as well along with MFPCS.
