Notification Window

During the notification window, the user receives a notification message, such as the one shown in the following figure.

The message includes the actual start and end time for the Blackout Window, as well as a customized message that the administration user provides in the Blackout Window Task wizard. During the notification window, a non-administration user cannot start a new wizard process. If the user already has a workbook open, the user can continue to work in the workbook; however, the user will not be able to refresh or work on DPM operations and will receive a warning message if that user attempts any such work. The user can submit a workbook commit, save and close. The administration user can still do any maintenance work; however, any scheduled task will be halted and will execute only after blackout window is finished.
