Workflow Validation Task

The WorkflowValidation task is used to validate one or more selected workflows without patching or registering the application. The validation runs against the installed application configuration.

The task exports each selected workbook definition, runs workbook and merged-configuration checks, stores the validation metadata, and generates the validation report files.

Task Label

The task name is Workflow Validation and the displayed label is Workflow Validation.

Selected Workflows

At least one workflow must be selected. Each selection identifies an activity and task in Workflow Manager. The task is submitted as a nonexclusive task so it does not reserve exclusive application access.

Validation Results

A validation child task is created for every selected workflow. The master task completes successfully only when all selected workflows pass validation.
