POM Batch Metrics Tile made available in Retail Home

As of version 21.0.002, a POM Batch Metrics Tile has been added to the user’s home dashboard in Retail Home. When the Retail Home Administrator or any POM user log in to Retail Home, they will see this Tile on their home dashboard. The tile shows the overall current progress of all schedules, which schedules need attention and basic metrics for each schedule such as number of jobs completed, in error, and so on.

The tile is scrollable in two ways:

  • Within a cycle in case there are more that five schedules (Merch, RSP, etc.)

  • Between cycles (Nightly, Recurring and Adhoc)

POM Version Metric made available in Retail Home

Retail Home contains a dashboard called Application Dashboard which lists all applications along with subscription and usage information. POM has been added to this list of applications as of version 21.0.002. Only the Version Installed and date Installed have been implemented for now. Other metrics will be implemented in future versions.

POM Resource Bundle Customization made available in Retail Home

Just like all other Oracle Retail applications, POM comes packaged with resource bundles which are files that contain text resources. These text resources appear throughout the application as instructions, messages, labels, errors, virtually any text that appears in the application’s user interface comes from a resource bundle. Retail Home contains a feature which supports customizing the text that appears in the Oracle Retail applications to better match the retailer's business language. Retailers can customize text resources for any Oracle Retail supported language.

In version 21.0.002, POM has subscribed to the Resource Bundle Customization capability. For more information about this feature, refer to the Retail Home Administration Guide – Resource Bundles chapter.
