New and Updated Options
This section describes the new and updated options.
Functional Enhancements
This section describes the functional enhancements for this release.
Archive Existing Broadcaster Configuration
Added the ability to archive existing, inactive broadcasters. Archived broadcasters can be restored if needed. The current “Enabled” column has been changed to “Status” with statuses of “Active”, “Inactive”, and “Archived”.
Data Publisher Activity View
Added support to view the status of all Data Publisher Request Activity, updated the Deployment Results screen to reflect Oracle Retail Merchandising Foundation Cloud Service (MFCS) data refresh requests, and added the DeploymentID to the Deployment Detail screen.
On Demand Data Push for MFCS Integration
Added support for functionality to enhance self-service recovery in Xadmin when data integrity problems are found or suspected by a retailer.
Extract Broadcaster Failure Records
Added support to view the Broadcaster Error Logs via the Support Tools function.
Retail Home New Tile for Daily Sales Report
Created a new Retail Home Tile that displays a retailers Daily Sales Report which includes Total Stores, Total Transaction Count, and Total Net Sales for the Organization in the tile URL when the Tile is displayed.
Index Creation on Custom Table Support
Created the ability to add, delete and modify indexes on custom tables when dtx files are uploaded to Xadmin.
Enhanced Virus Scan Support
Added support for Enhanced Virus Scanning for complex and large .zip files. The user interface for file uploads has been updated to have a three step process – Upload, Scan and when done with Scanning, Deploy. This process will also be in place for the File Upload API. As a result of this enhanced virus scanning, the scanning of large, complex files will take time that Retailers will need to plan for in their Deployment Planning and Scheduling. Specifically, files larger than 1 gigabyte can take longer periods of time before they will be available in their auto deploy folders. The behavior for downloading JAR files has been changed to download priority “Immediate” as the only option. Retailers are advised to be aware of this enhanced virus scan support for large and complex files including updaters and upgrader files. For 25.1.301.0 Retailers should plan to test all their large and complex Updater/Upgrader files and large mnt/XLOAD files in their Stage/NPE environments to ensure that they do not have any issues in their Prod Environments. The Oracle Retail Xstore Office Cloud Services User Guide has been updated to reflect these changes.
