New and Updated Options
This section describes the new and updated options.
Functional Enhancements
This section describes the functional enhancements for this release.
Purging of Custom Tables in XOCS
Xstore Office Cloud Service now supports purging custom tables as part of the existing purge process. With this update, administrators can configure how long records are retained for different categories of custom data, using new settings available exclusively for XOCS Cloud. This enhancement provides greater flexibility and control for managing custom data retention within XOCS Cloud.
Planned Deployment Improvements
The Planned Deployment wizard now offers visibility to users about the Download Priority and when it will be applied. This now matches the Single Deployment wizard functionality.
New Naming Convention for Saved Reports
Saved reports now have a more user-friendly naming convention. This improvement will make it easier to identify reports once they have been downloaded.
Clarity for JAR Files for Single Deployments
The download priority of JAR file single deployments has been updated to allow the user to clearly indicate when to apply the deployment.
Clarity for Launch Type in Deployment Detail
The Download Priority and Apply Priority have been added to the Deployment Detail Summary. The Launch Type now only displays information regarding the approval status.
Custom Table Support in RDS
Effective 26.0.101.0 any custom table defined in the Xcenter schema using the Customization Management feature becomes eligible for inclusion into the set of Xstore Office Cloud tables accessible in Retail Data Store (RDS). Any previously defined custom table defined before the update to 26.0.101.0 will be integrated into RDS as part of the regular version upgrade. Newly added custom tables become accessible in RDS after the next scheduled upgrade to a patch/hotfix or update. Note that RDS views for custom tables are created and updated during the Xstore Office Cloud Service version upgrade process; custom table data access does not occur immediately after table creation.
DTXQL Enhancements
Enhancements to DTXQL functionality - support for ROW_NUMBER(), support joins to a sub-query, support select from a sub-query, fixed ROUND method in expressions, removed unimplemented SUBQUERY expression, added date parameter support for YYYY-MM-DD.
IDCS/IAM Related Changes
Please note that due to changes in the IDCS/IAM interfaces, several back-end API’s have been modified. While most changes are transparent to the end users, the Setup Data and Enhanced Emails Apps will need to use service (XOCS) specific scopes when requesting a token. When new Xstore patch versions from 2026 are deployed they too will use service specific scopes. Additional information will be available in the patch documentation for Xstore versions as they are released in 2026.
Database Partitioning for New Customer Installations of XOCS 26.0.101.0
New customer installations of XOCS 26.0.101.0 and higher will include partitioning for transaction tables to improve scalability and performance. Existing Customers of XOCS will not automatically get this change, They will be informed about specifics of the update/upgrade that will be required for them later in 2026 to get the benefit of this enhancement.
